If your teammate or enemy shoots at the smoke, that specific area gets ‘carved out,’ making the player on the other side visible. For example – if someone pops up an explosive HE grenade next to the smoke, it will completely disappear for a few seconds. And guess what – the smoke is responsive to guns and explosions as well. The smoke can expand to a surrounding area as well.
